EBOOKS:::
  • Plan your preparation
There is a famous saying “He who fails to plan plans to fail”. As a student, one should not undermine the importance of planning for the exam, since you are appearing for the CLAT exam. You should prepare one study plan which should be weekly and should complete some chapters each week so that you can complete the syllabus in time.

  • Selective study.
Students should understand the difference between smart work and hard work. They do not need to know everything about everything. One needs to plan out a good strategy and select good reading sources and maintain regularity.

  • Reading :
If a student wants to score well, then he or she should work hard on the vocabulary part as many sections require understanding of principles as well as its application. Start reading newspaper regularly it helps to improve the vocabulary.
Apart from this you also need to plan your study according to the syllabus of CLAT. Students need to work on the following sections

  • Mathemetics
A quick analysis of CLAT tells us that the level of maths is easy, and requires familiarity with numbers, rather than knowledge of advanced calculus. A candidate should practice elementary mathematics i.e. maths taught upto class X. As this section is easy, candidates should focus on getting all the answers correct. Candidates need to clear the basic concepts and knowledge about math and improve approach towards MCQ questions. Apart from that they also need to improve the speed.

  • Legal Aptitude
This section will test candidate’s interest towards study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions will be set with the help of legal propositions (described in the paper), and a set of facts to which the said proposition has to be applied. Some propositions may not be “true” in the real in that case candidates will have to assume the “truth” of these propositions and answer the questions accordingly. The candidates need to develop a strong understanding about legal terminology, constitution, criminal laws, contracts etc. Students need to Understand the question thoroughly and then they should come to a logical conclusion. Try to time yourself when you are attempting this section so that you know exactly how much time is to be spent on each questions

  • Logical Reasoning
The logical reasoning section mainly assesses the candidates’ ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. In this section questions on syllogism, logical sequences, analogies are asked. Visual reasoning will not be tested. Students need to learn tricks and short cuts to solve the problems easily. You should learn how to manage your time so that you are able to attempt each question and not leave out any. This strategy will also focus on how much time you need to devote to each question.

A daily routine for studying!

Start with devoting at least 2 hours everyday After Managing The Studies Of Your Class 12 Exam!! Afterall its hightime now. Those Who Have Already Passed Class 12 Can Increase Their Study Time In The Same Ratio As Under. So you should start with the following plan:-

You have 7 days in a week, so

1st day
GK-1 hour
Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning-45 minutes
Maths-15 minutes

2nd Day
Logical Reasoning- 1 hour
English-30 minutes
Maths-30 minutes

then on the 3rd day, follow the plan of first day
on the 4th day again, follow the plan of second day, and so on..

Follow this plan for every week,if you are not comfortable with this plan, let me know. But I really think its 1 of the best study plans as you get to cover all the subjects in equal proportion..

CLAT is much about Time Management. Sometimes the exam is very easy but consequently because you had not planned that how you will attempt the paper, you end up getting a bad score. So, in this article I am going to help you that how you should not only attempt the CLAT exam completely but also have some extra minutes to tackle any unexpected problem. Let’s start with it…

When you enter your CLAT examination hall be cool say your prayers if you want to but don’t be afraid at that point just think you know everything because if you get frightened the game iis over. But since you have decided that you have to win this game. So, be a cool dude there and then.

Settle your stationary… It would be best if you prepare a pencil box for your exam which consists of 2 Blue ball pens, 2 Black ball pens, 1 Blue Gel pen, 5 Sharpened pencils, Sharpener and a Eraser.

And now you have the question paper in your hands for 2-3 mins Skim the paper . Don’t get afraid if you don’t know some questions as I said before be a cool dude because you are here to win so be confident.

Now start attempting the questions which section should be attempted first needs to be decided by you actually you need to decide the sequence in which you are going to attempt the sections…
Deciding the sequence is not enough you also need to decide the time that you are going to denote to each section. I suggest you to follow the below Time Management

Read the paper for 5 mins
Maths- 10 minutes
Legal aptitude- 35 minutes
English- 20 minutes
Logical reasoning- 30 minutes
General Knowledge-10 minutes
Extra time- 10 minutes

Apply this method when you attempt your mock tests so that it becomes your habit to attempt the paper like this. The extra 10 minutes can be utilized for the questions which you had left for second attempt.Sometimes the legal aptitude section has questions which are lengthy and sometimes such questions are there in logical reasoning section so adjust the time accordingly use your first five minutes for this thing.
